ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - State Representative Bill Owens and Senator Kay Hagan hold a helicopter part that was freshly cut at the Coast Guard Aircraft Logistics Center in Elizabeth City Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. They toured the logistics center and Air Station as Senator Hagan spent the day in the area meeting with local elected officials and other local leaders to discuss jobs and economic development here. The logistics center employs more than 1,400 military, civilian, contractor, and high school apprentice personnel with an annual operating budget of $250 million.
