OREGON INLET, N.C. - Workers with Industrial Marine Services run air and diesel lines to remove diesel fuel from the 55-foot catamaran Makayla and Noah on the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge near Oregon Inlet, N.C., Friday, March 20. The catamaran drifted to the beach from anchor after its operator was rescued by the Coast Guard Wednesday. The Coast Guard will oversee workers as they lighter more than 300 gallons from the catamaran to prevent the diesel from ending up on the beach.
