PASCAGOULA, Miss. (May, 21, 2005) Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice Jacky Jones, 19, of Dallas, Texas, catches a 50-pound onion bag full of shrimp May 21, 2004, which was illegally fished out of the Gulf of Mexico. Boarding teams from Coast Guard Station Pascagoula and Coast Guard Cutter Seahawk, homeported in Carrabelle, Fla., terminated the voyage of the fishing vessel Mariachi, homeported in Brownsville, Texas, May 20 after they discovered several safety violations and lack of federally required marineconservation equipment. In all, 10,000 pounds of shrimp were seized by the Coast Guard and sold to a local fish house. USCG photo by PA3 Nicholas Cangemi.
