NEW YORK, New York (Apr. 22, 2004)--The pride of the Cunard Cruise lines fleet, the Queen Mary II passes the Statue of Liberty under intense security during its maiden visit to New York City April, 22, 2004. Coast Guard law enforcement inspectors and New York City Police divers swept the Petty Officer 2nd class before a task force of Coast Guard patrol boats, New York City Police and Fire boats, New Jersey State Police Marine Units and New York City Police helicopters escorted this magnificent vessel under much fanfare to Pier 92 in New York City.
