Sgt. 1st Class George Clay, a platoon sergeant with Company B, 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd “Black Jack” Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, embraces his son, Wyatt, during a redeployment ceremony at Cooper Field, on Fort Hood, Texas, Nov. 29. Clay, an Abilene, Texas, native, redeployed from Afghanistan with five months in country. The 2nd BSTB Troopers returned early from their deployment to Afghanistan as recent security gains have allowed for some troops to return before the holidays.
