Marines recruiters from New Orleans set up a recruiting booth in Champions Square outside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La., Nov. 30, 2013 in an effort to increase awareness of career opportunities in the United States Marine Corps. The Marines' recruiting booth and chin-up challenge drew large crowds throughout the day as Grambling and Southern University fans gathered to root for their respective teams. For 39 years, the Bayou Classic has showcased the long-standing intrastate rivalry between the Southern University Jaguars and the Grambling State University Tigers. The United States Marine Corps has been a partner of the Bayou Classic for 13 consecutive years in celebration of the hard work, courage, and commitment to excellence exhibited by its many participants.
