Aviation Boastwain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Angelo Mack of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Chief Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Aaron Young of Minneapolis Minnesota, carry US AID relief supplies unloaded from MV22 Osprey aircraft on the USS Germantown (LSD-42). USS Germantown and USS Ashland (LSD 48) along with embarked Commander, Amphibious Squadron (PHIBORN) 11, Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7 and elements of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are in the Leyte Gulf in The Republic of the Philippines in support of Operation Damayan.
