Lancers host observance to honor Native Americans

Dr. Sharon Parker, the assistant chancellor for equality and diversity at the University of Washington Tacoma in Washington state, speaks to a group of soldiers and airmen at a National American Indian Heritage Month observance on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Nov. 19. Parker was invited to be the guest speaker at the event by the 2-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division, which hosted the observance.
