Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs helps trim Tribute to the Troops Tree

Shawna Wyman, the child youth program coordinator with the Wisconsin National Guard's Service Member Support Division, volunteered a few hours Tuesday, Nov. 20 to decorate the Tribute to the Troops Tree at the Executive Residence in Maple Bluff, Wis. Gov. Scott Walker and his wife, Tonette, invited family members and friends of service members to donate ornaments, and Linda Hughes of Cambria, Wis., once again donated hand-made ornaments with the names of fallen Wisconsin service members. The Tribute to the Troops Tree can be seen as part of public tours of the Executive Residence, set for noon-2 p.m. Dec. 4, 5, 11, and 12, and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 7 and 14.
