A fireball erupts from a “junk shot” used by Marines with Ribbon Bridge Platoon, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group to expend all unused explosives during a demolition training exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 20, 2013. The service members detonated approximately 30 explosive charges to train for future operations with urban, path-clearing and anti-personnel devices.
