Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet, pays tribute in a Veterans Day ceremony at the Battleship Missouri Memorial to America's Nisei ("second-generation," U.S.-born Japanese American) soldiers who served in World War II in the 100th Infantry Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Military Intelligence Service, and 1399th Engineer Construction Battalion.
