Family and friends of the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, gather in a field food service tent for lunch during the Wolfpack Battalion's family day at the aerial gunnery range, Nov. 2. The Wolfpack pilots qualify on their weapon systems annually, and the battalion took the opportunity to host a family day at the range and show their families what they do in the field. The troopers showed their children and spouses the inside of an AH-64 Apache helicopter cockpit, how they fuel the helicopter and the different ammunition they use. Of course, they did not forget to throw in a live demonstration of the Apache firing rockets and 30 mm rounds.
