Kim Diano, president of Santa's Workshop, and Brig. Gen. Paul L. Wentz, commanding officer of the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), present an ornamental boomerang to Bill White, owner of the Outback Steakhouse in Killeen, during the Santa's Workshop Christmas in July fundraiser at the local restaurant, July 16. The annual fundraiser goes toward helping Santa's Workshop, a Fort Hood based organization exclusively funded by donations staffed entirely by volunteers who work year round in order to distribute new toys, books, and games to children in the Fort Hood military community during Christmas time. Santa's Workshop originally started as a 13th ESC program, but grew into an installation-wide initiative based on demand.
