Riders taking part in the United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Motorcycle Safety and Mentorship Ride on Oct. 25 prepare for the second leg of the ride prior to departing from Company D, 1st Battalion 252D Combined Arms Battalion, North Carolina Army National Guard, in Sanford and heading to the Alston House near Carthage. The purpose of the event was to allow riders the chance to apply lessons learned from the basic rider’s course to the open road, build cohesion and learn from the more experienced riders.
