Retired military working dog Bak enjoys a life of play with his new family following retirement in May 2013. Master Sgt. Scott Peirsol of Seattle has found a special bond with the veteran soldier as he recovers from knee surgery. Peirsol and his family adopted Bak in June 2013, when he retired from service with the U.S. Army in Korea. The two enjoy fetch at the Peirsol home in Spring Lake, N.C., Sept. 20
