An instructor evaluates U.S. Army Spc. Tomas Sanchez, an infantryman, while he prepares a range card during the Expert Infantryman Badge course at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Sept. 25, 2013. Sanchez was one of the 171 soldiers with the 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division who started the course.
