U.S. Army Pfc. Kherrion Sweet, Japan Self Defense Forces' (JSDF) Navy Lt. Hirosuke Watanbe and Army Sgt. 1st Class Yasuyuki Iwashita inspect radio equipment at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, July 5, 2013. Tthe U.S. and Japanese service members developed an emergency communications system and tested their radio equipment to ensure it is compatible with each other.
