U.S. Army 1st Lt. Christopher Hoff inspects radio equipment with members of Japan Self Defense Forces' (JSDF) Deployment Air Force for Counter-Piracy Enforcement unit (DAPE), at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, July 5, 2013. During emergencies, effective and reliable communication system between CJTF-HOA and coalition partners is essential. DAPE and U.S. Soldiers met and successfully tested their radio equipment for use during emergencies.
