Master Sgt. Scott Fortune helps place a bench, which is a part of the new and first playground at the Maryvale Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, Sept. 27, 2013. Fortune is the operations noncommissioned officer in charge for the 492nd Civil Affairs Battalion and is one of the soldiers from the 492nd who joined more than 250 volunteers to build the new playground, which was given to the school by the nonprofit organization Kaboom.
