Patriot Run honors 9/11 fallen

Bagram Fire Department members run with gear on during a 5K run/walk event held at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Sept. 12, 2013. The event was held to honor and remember the lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting for freedom. More than 1,200 runners and walkers participated in the Patriot Run. The number of participants exceeded any other run/walk event attended on BAF to date. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
