Officers give back to local community

Capt. Kenneth May, battalion chaplain, 14th Engineer Battalion, helps dig a ditch to install an irrigation system at Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System in Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 24. The battalion officers conducted a community service oriented staff ride to serve the local community and fellow veterans through grounds maintenance as part of their officer’s professional development.
