Samantha Albert, a combat engineer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), welds metal to use for a security fence at Taysan Elementary School in Legazpi City, Albay province, Philippines, Sept. 23, 2013. Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 3rd MEB, III MEF conducted humanitarian and civic assistance projects as part of Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 14.
