Pfc. Matthew Stricker, a gunner for Troop B, 3rd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, runs through the woods to find his first point during a land navigation course here, Sept. 26. The land navigation course was the culmination of three weeks of training and testing in four events, the purpose of which is to select only the best of the best to go to the U.S. Army Ranger School as a representative of the Spartans, in their attempt to earn the right to wear the Ranger tab.
