Spc. Peter Churchill, sniper, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, lubes the wheel hubs on his Stryker during a day off of training at Yakima Training Center, Wash., Sept. 19. Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces and U.S. soldiers have been using their equipment to their capacity in the rough terrain of YTC during Operation Rising Thunder. Vehicle operators pay special attention performing preventative maintenance on their equipment to ensure it functions properly.
