Extravagownza donates fashion for Marine Corps birthday ball

  • Trisha Campbell, who will be getting married March 31, 2011, tries on a wedding gown during the Bridal and Ball Gown Giveaway at the Officer's Club aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Oct. 17. Local sponsors donated more than 400 dresses to the event. Each recipient had 20 minutes to find either a wedding gown, or a ball gown. There was also a women's exposition at the event. The exposition had local organizations such as USAA, Navy Federal Credit Union and many others. The event began at 10 a.m. and lasted until about 4 p.m.
  • A Marine spouse searches through a selection of gowns during a Bridal and Ball Gown Giveaway at the officer’s club aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Sept. 23. Family and spouses went through the gown room 20 at a time and had 20 minutes to find a gown.
