Soldiers who have served in Company B “Bayonets,” 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, pose for a group photo around one of their fallen comrade’s memorial tree here at Warriors Walk, Sept. 20. The Warriors Walk is lined with Eastern Redbud trees, each one dedicated to a 3rd Infantry Division soldier fallen in combat. The soldiers are gathered around Cpl. Bryant Luxmore’s tree. Luxmore was killed by enemy small-arms fire June 10, 2012, while conducting security operations in Panjwai, Afghanistan. The soldiers were gathered to remember all their fallen comrades here at the Warriors Walk, Sept. 20, the one-year anniversary of when Sgt. Jason Swindle was killed in action.
