    Operation Onward Liberty

U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Jonathan Gonzalez, Operation ONWARD LIBERTY adviser to the Armed Forces of Liberia Logistics Command, discusses the LOGCOM change-of-command ceremony with Nigerian Army Lt. Col. Wosiu Bakare and AFL Capt. Roland Murphy. Murphy took command from Bakare in a ceremony at Edward Binyah Kesselly Barracks, Sept. 17, 2013. OOL provides mentorship to the AFL to produce a capable, respected force able to protect Liberian interests in the West African region. In addition, OOL is developing the leadership capabilities of the officers and noncommissioned officers to maintain a professional and credible military force with a reputation as a “force for good” among the Liberian people.
