James Register, a Marine with Combat Logistics Regiment 2, Regional Command (Southwest), gathers himself after waiting nearly 16 hours to watch the birth of his first child on a computer at Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Sept. 18, 2013. Register watched the birth of his baby girl on a computer more than 7,000 miles away from home.
