Staff Sgt. Neil Schmidt, medic, and Sgt. Zachary Quinn, crew chief, hoist a cat to safety aboard a MEDEVAC helicopter. Army Medicine MEDEVAC crews from 2nd Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment (2-4 GSAB), stationed out of Fort Carson, Colo., rescued/evacuated 1028 civilians and flew more than 150 total flight hours over five days of Colorado flood evacuation operations.
