Burundi National Defense Force soldiers on patrol during an exercise with U.S. Marines and sailors from Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa 13 in Mudubugu, Burundi, Aug. 22, 2013. The Marines and sailors are conducting a 10-week exercise, which ends Sept. 27, with Burundian soldiers to prepare them for assignments in Somalia. Burundi supplies troops to the African Union Mission in Somalia, a regional peacekeeping mission, and supports Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa's mission to provide stability and security in the region.
