Preachers, a native of Edgefield, S.C., runs during the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) portion of the 35th Signal Brigade Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year Competition. In addition to the APFT, competitors executed Army Warrior Tasks and Drills, a land navigation course and other activities that tested their mental and physical fitness.
