  • Flight Crew member Clayton Story is a Third Army/USARCENT team member securing a Black Hawk Helicopter to the flight line at Camp Buehring, Kuwait.  Story is a La Fayette, Ind. native who is attached to the Headquarters, Headquarters Command at 2/238th General Support Aviation Battalion. The 2/238th GSAB is stationed at Camp Buehring in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. The 2/238th contributes to the responsible draw down by supporting air lift operations.
  • Soldiers from C Company, 2nd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Battalion conducts hoist training off the coast of Kuwait in the Arabian Gulf.  The specialized training prepares medevac crews to extract downed aviators at sea.  The 2-238th includes soldiers from both the Indiana and Kentucky Army National Guard and is currently deployed to the Middle East with the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade (Texas Army National Guard) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
