‘Gator’ Bn. goes surfing

A Marine with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division jumps off an amphibious assault vehicle during their annual surf qualification Sept. 12, 2013 at Onslow Beach aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Marines were taken 500 meters off-shore before evacuating the AAV.
