The Nepalese army and U.S. Army Pacific concluded the Nepal Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange (DREE) with a morning of collaborative after action reviews followed by a closing ceremony Sept. 12 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The DREE, co-hosted by the Nepalese army and USARPAC, ran from Sept. 9-12, and was the first in Nepal to include a field training exercise designed to practically apply civil-military disaster preparedness and response initiatives when faced with a massive earthquake scenario.
