3rd Bn., 7th Marines hone counterinsurgency tactics

Marines serving with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, carry a simulated wounded role-player away from a danger zone during the battalion's Integrated Training Exercise here, Aug. 9, 2013. The Marines rushed to the scene from an improvised explosive device being detonated to save the lives of two role-players. The ITX is a training exercise held at the Combat Center to prepare Marines for a combat deployment.
