Engineers honor EOD soldiers

Gathering a memory from the, Triple Nickel Memorial at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., 1st Lt. Jonathon Nisbett, 53rd Ordnance Company (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), operations officer, gets a charcoal rubbing of the names of the soldiers he knew, following a rededication ceremony Aug. 23. Thirty names cover the granite memorial that stands as a place to remember those 555th soldiers who have paid the ultimate prices for freedom.
