Christiana, Tenn., resident honored with Leadership Award
Christiana, Tenn., resident, Staff Sgt. Erik Yatuzis, of the Tennessee National Guard's 117th Regimental Training Institute, received the "Leadership Award" during graduation from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy August 1. "I was truly surprised! It means a lot and makes me proud that my peers felt I was deserving of this award," said Yatuzis, who attended the Academy to receive his POST certification, a requirement to be a patrol officer in Tennessee.
