Oregon National Guard hosts Region VI Best Warrior Competition
The Oregon Army National Guard hosted the Region VI Best Warrior Competition at three locations around the state from 13-17 May, 2013. Thirteen competitors from eight different states (Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota) contended for the title of best Soldier and best Non-Commissioned Officer of the year.

For the second time in three years, the Wisconsin Army National Guard is sending two soldiers to contend for the honor of being named Soldier of the Year and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year for the entire Army National Guard.

The 108th Chemical Company trains for natural disaster during Ardent Sentry
The S.C. Army National Guard’s 108th Chemical Company, from North Charleston, S.C., continues to get their fill of training during Ardent Sentry, May 19. The company has already shown their capabilities to process personnel through a decontamination line and today, they’ve done the same with a large vehicle convoy.
