[6] Loadmasters keep cargo, passengers moving in AOR
Come rain, dust storms, extreme heat or cold, flightline operations in the Air Force must go on. This is especially true in the U.S. Air Force Central Command area of responsibility where troops downrange are awaiting reinforcements and supplies. Often a thankless job, it's up to the Airmen of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing and its tenant units to get C-130 and C-17 fleets off the ground. Three of these vital enlisted career fields include loadmasters, crew chiefs and fuels specialists. This article offers a closer look at one group of these professionals - loadmasters.

Canadian Forces Capt. Chris Horner is one of five Canadian Forces members deployed with the 965th Expeditionary Airborne Air Control Squadron. The 11-year Canadian Forces veteran is a Senior Director or a senior weapons officer for the E-3 Sentry. The captain is deployed from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., and his hometown is Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. (02/6/10)

[10] Change of Command - Same Mission The 376th Air Expeditionary Wing serves as the hub of operations for air refueling and transporting of forces going into and out of Afghanistan. Tech. Sgt. Harry Kibbe now takes us to Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, where command of the 376th recently changed, but as he says the mission stays the same.
[10] Air Force News: Planting a Friendship Airmen at Manas wanted to do their part to show their respect for Mother Nature...they chose to do this by planting trees just outside of the base. TSgt Harry Kibbe reports from the base near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
