New flash-bang launcher expands Marines’ non-lethal capabilityFor Marines running roadblocks and vehicle check points, identifying an oncoming vehicle as a threat is a decision that has to happen quickly and at standoff range because lives are on the line. A new system being fielded to II and III Marine Expeditionary Forces, Reserve Units and Marine Corps Forces Central Command will give Marines more certainty when distinguishing friend or foe.


Semper Fidelis All-American Selection Tour Kick-Off
The Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) is excited to announce the kick-off of the Semper Fidelis Football Program Selection Tour. The tour is a four-month process leading up to the 4th annual nationally televised Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl that will take place in Carson, Calif., January 4, 2015.

Marines, civilians and international military members stood in line for a chance to meet a world-renowned bodybuilder who has inspired them for more than 20 years.


Combat Center returns to the Grid Iron
Combat Center returns to the Grid IronFelix Field is now a place for all Combat Center patrons to enjoy Americas favorite fall sport: football. Semper Fit has started up its intramural tackle football league after a two-year hiatus due to field construction. Four teams were created by different units to compete for the championship at the end of a twelve-week season. Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Tank Battalion and Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School have all fielded teams comprised of Marines, sailors, DoD contractors and family members who are 18 and above.


HMH-366 focuses on crew communication during heavy lift training
Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366 practiced vertical lift capabilities and crew communication tactics during training near Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., Aug. 20.
