Armed Forces Hawaii FC takes second place in Defender's Cup
Despite scorching Texas heat, little rest between games and a smaller team than most, the Armed Forces Hawaii Futbol Club brought home second place in the Defender’s Cup at the South Texas Area Regional Soccer Complex in San Antonio, Aug. 29 through Sept. 1, 2014.

Marines participate in Operation Adrenaline RushSergeants Major, Master Gunnery Sergeants and Single Marine Program representatives from throughout 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing traveled to Carlsbad Lagoon, Calif., for a day on the water as an introduction to a Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) program called Operation Adrenaline Rush, Sept. 17. Operation Adrenaline Rush combines combat and operational stress control principles with a multitude of outdoor recreation adventure activities to mitigate boredom and high-risk behavior in recently deployed Marines and Sailors.

Bradley Rusher, a radio chief with Communications Platoon, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, of Carthage, S.D., has experienced almost every facet of the Marine Corps during his last 13 years in the military. He started his career working side-by-side with infantry Marines, then deployed with Explosive Ordinance Disposal technicians, worked with the air wing, did recruiting, trained with a reconnaissance unit and is current working in the logistics field with the MLG.
