ANG Airmen perform communications upgrades
ANG Airmen perform communications upgradesHundreds of miles from home, Airmen from the Massachusetts Air National Guard’s 212th Engineering Installation Squadron are in South Jersey doing final telecommunications upgrades that culminate a 10-year project. The unit, which is based out of Otis Air Force Base, Mass., is a specialized group that travels throughout the northeast region assisting other National Guard bases with communications infrastructure.

14 enlist at Selfridge Open HouseStanding before a crowd of thousands, 14 young men and women promised on Saturday to defend the U.S. and Michigan constitutions. All of the 14 are now Student Flight members of the Michigan Air National Guard's 127th Wing, which is based at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. The 14 people were sworn in as new enlistees in the Michigan Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force by Col. Philip R. Sheridan, 127th Wing commander, just moments before the beginning of the flying portion of the 2014 Selfridge Open House & Air Show.
