In this week’s Deck Watch, the Coast Guard has joined the rest of the nation in observing National Safe Boating Week Monday through Friday to encourage safe boating practices and prevent recreational boating accidents. Also, Coast Guard Sector Juneau units in Southeast Alaska are scheduled to begin implementing a new warning signal for security patrols this summer.
