    Defense Threat Reduction Agency works with U.S. and Djiboutian governments to help build a community of security professionals to reduce and prevent illicit trafficking across international borders. Staff Sergeant Sara Weeks has the story.

    The Defense Threat Reduction Agency or DTRA sponsored a symposium in Djibouti, Africa, to increase awareness and to reduce illicit trafficking across international borders for the Djiboutian military and paramilitary organizations. Lt Col Veronica Cowher, DTRA, Regional Security Engagement Program Coordinator says their goal is to raise awareness and identify risks and threats of counter illicit trafficking and to come up with a practice to integrate land and maritime security for the government of Djibouti.
