Five military children were recognized by "Our Military Child" a non-profit organization offering grants to children. The Army Engineer School launches "Enforce", its Annual Regimental Conference. Earth Day is celebrated through out the Army.

  • At a young age children begin forming opinions and ideas about the people that surround them. With the U.S. Military in Afghanistan, the day to day interactions between a Soldier and a young Afghan child could produced a positive influence in the way a future adult perceives the American people. Marine Cpl. Dane Knapik-Christensen takes us to an orphanage in Afghanistan, where a visit by some Soldiers will hopefully leave a positive wrinkle on the children.
  • Operation Homefront recognizes Amelia McConnell as this years Army Military Child of the Year and one soldier doesn't fight with bullets in Afghanistan.
