The devastating earthquake that struck Japan affected large areas of the pacific. Outside the country in Hawaii, a tsunami warning was issued and huge waves swamped the islands Hawaii and Maui. On the island of Oahu shipping was also affected. Joint Base Pearl Harbor - Hickam's commanding officer, Capt. Kitchens, explains how the base readied itself. Cpl. Kevin Beebe reports.
