KABUL, Afghanistan - A partnered ANA-ISAF force operating in Musa Qalah District, Helmand province, encountered a number of insurgents and requested close air support.
Supporting aircraft dropped a 1,100 kg bomb on the area and suppressed the insurgent gunfire. Battle damage assessment has not been completed due to the tactical situation.
There are no reports of civilian casualties. However, there are reports of minor damage to the compound.
