    Weapons caches found

    KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan and ISAF forces found a weapons cache in the Shindand District of Herat yesterday. The cache contained two 107 mm rockets, two 82 mm mortar rounds, two anti-tank mines, two pressure plates and five artillery rounds.

    In the Now Zad District of Helmand today, ISAF forces discovered a cache of 320 large-caliber machine gun rounds, three rocket-propelled grenades, two pressure plates, an artillery round, eight mortars and
    AK-47 ammunition.

    ISAF forces also found two RPG rounds and an RPG in the Tarin Kot District of Uruzgan.

    The munitions were destroyed by an explosive ordnance team.
