CAMP LIBERTY, Iraq – Spc. Krisin Rivera, a Soldier in the 21st Cargo Transfer Company, 620th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, from Yukon, Okla., showed that every Soldier can make a difference.
Rivera has been a vital asset to the Victory Base Complex Central Receiving and Shipping Point during this deployment due to his vast knowledge in the transportation field. Rivera brings to the unit 10 years of civilian truck driving experience, and experience with different types of vehicle operations. He has taught the younger Soldiers the importance of safe operations of motor vehicles, thus contributing to an accident free work environment. Rivera has also been responsible for the uploading of over 1,500 tactical and non tactical vehicles throughout this year.
Rivera said he joined the military because it has always been something that he has wanted to do. Now that he is coming up on completion of his enlistment contract he has fulfilled this desire, and he plans on leaving the Army to open up his own business back in Oklahoma.
