Marines with 81mm Mortars Platoon, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, set up their M252 81mm mortar system within an entrenched position at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., Sept. 15. The training provided the platoon's newer Marines the opportunity to spend time conducting live fire missions in order to become more comfortable with their weapons system.
